Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 13 years of age to use DollarBuddy. If you are under the age of 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Use of the Services is void where prohibited by applicable law.

To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date;
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with any third party;
• Notify us immediately at info@dollarbuddy.io of any unauthorised use of your account;
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to disable any user account, at our sole discretion, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or if your account has been compromised.

DollarBuddy is a personal finance management application that provides, among other features:

• Expense tracking and categorisation;
• Budget creation and management;
• Multi-currency support and real-time exchange rate data;
• Travel budget books;
• Data export and financial reports;
• AI-assisted expense entry via natural-language text and voice dictation;
• Push notifications and daily spending reminders.

The Services are provided on an "as-is" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any such changes.

Exchange rate data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of exchange rate information.

AI features. Certain features use artificial intelligence to interpret text or voice you provide (for example, turning "taxi airport 300" into a structured expense) and to power in-app assistance. AI-generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing and confirming any suggested entry before it is saved, and for the accuracy of the records you keep. AI features do not constitute financial, tax, or investment advice. Voice dictation relies on your device's speech recognition, and AI text interpretation is provided by a third-party AI provider (see our Privacy Policy). Free accounts may use a limited number of AI entries per month; unlimited AI entry is available with a Premium subscription. We may change these limits at any time.

DollarBuddy offers a free tier and a paid Premium plan. The current Premium plan pricing is:

• Monthly Plan: USD $9.99 per month, billed monthly in advance.
• Annual Plan: USD $79.99 per year (equivalent to approximately $6.67 per month), billed annually in advance.

All prices are stated in United States Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and are subject to each platform's billing terms in addition to these Terms.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorise us (through the applicable app store) to charge the payment method on file for the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase, and your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

We may, at our sole discretion, offer a free trial of the Premium plan for a limited period. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires. You will not be charged during the trial period. Trial eligibility is determined by us and may be limited to new users only.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to Premium features until then.

No partial-period refunds are provided. Once a billing period has commenced, fees for that period are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as specifically stated in the applicable app store's refund policy.

For refund requests related to exceptional circumstances, please contact us at info@dollarbuddy.io. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis but are not obligated to issue refunds outside of the foregoing.

You retain ownership of all financial data, expense records, and other content you create within the application ("User Content"). By using the Services, you grant Inicrea Technologies Pvt. Ltd. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Services.

We do not sell your User Content or personal financial data to third parties for marketing purposes. For more information on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the application. DollarBuddy does not verify or validate the financial information you provide.

All content, features, technology, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and branding contained within the Services are owned by Inicrea Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Services without our prior written consent.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or related systems;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the application;
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract data from the Services;
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Services;
• Use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Services or interfere with other users.

The Services integrate with certain third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Firebase (Google): Push notification delivery and app analytics;
• PostHog: Product analytics and user behaviour analysis (see our Privacy Policy for details);
• Apple App Store / Google Play: In-app purchase and subscription processing;
• Exchange Rate Providers: Real-time and historical currency data.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Currency exchange rates and financial data provided through the Services are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for investment, tax, or other financial decisions.

AI-assisted features (including natural-language and voice expense entry) are provided without any warranty as to accuracy or completeness. AI-generated output may contain errors, and you are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming any suggested entry before saving it. We are not liable for expenses recorded from unreviewed or inaccurate AI suggestions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INICREA TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Inicrea Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of or access to the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) any content or data you submit through the Services.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms or conduct that we reasonably determine is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@dollarbuddy.io. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so, including Sections 7–13.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If such efforts fail, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Nepal.

If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws that cannot be contractually waived.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice via the application or by email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
